Time Out says

The Design District’s Jungle Plaza, the space sitting beneath the giant mural of birds in a lush forest, hosts a weekly farmers' market every Wednesday from 3–8pm. Each week, more than 40 local vendors hawk everything from produce and flowers to artisan goods. If you’re not in the mood to buy ingredients, you can purchase delicious food that will require no cooking on your part. Grab an acai bowl, fresh lemonade or a samosa from Nisha's Flavors of India and just relax while you listen to live music. And stay tuned, because more events are sure to pop up in Jungle Plaza.

Kith Treats & New Balance Baseball

To celebrate the World Baseball Classic, Kith Treats and New Balance are taking over Jungle Plaza in the Miami Design District on March 14 and 15 with a baseball compound featuring batting cages, a mini field and a Clubhouse installation showcasing the latest New Balance cleats. Nestled in the middle of it all, Kith Treats will be serving two limited-edition ice cream specials created for the collaboration: The Big Dumper — designed with New Balance athlete Cal Raleigh — which is loaded with Golden Grahams, Biscoff and shortbread cookies – and the Anda, which takes its name from the Japanese word for a safe hit and blends chocolate-covered pretzels, Rice Krispies and crushed Oreos. Both flavors will be available at Kith Treats Miami Design District and Miami Beach through March 22.

Markets for Makers

Looking for something you didn’t know you were looking for? Something that’ll sit in your home and make it look good, or perhaps an organic elixir to make your skin glow? Markets for Makers returns to Jungle Plaza for a two-day bazaar featuring small businesses and independent artists. Running from noon to 6 p.m. both days, the outdoor market brings together 110+ makers selling handcrafted goods alongside DIY stations, photo walls and food and drink stations to keep you fueled between finds. Every general admission ticket, starting at just $6 online, includes a free tote bag to fill as you go, while VIP tickets ($20) unlock all-weekend access and an exclusive Saturday preview hour from 11 a.m. to noon. Kids under 12 get in free and leashed pets are welcome.
