The highly-anticipated Eighth Annual Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) Corporate Luncheon, presented by South Motors Automotive Group and Stephen Starr Events, will take place on Monday, September 28, from 11am–2pm, when the museum will open its doors to South Florida’s most influential business leaders, in honor of their vital support of the arts in South Florida. PAMM Corporate Honors will be awarded to the legacy of R. Kirk Landon, in recognition of his passion for education, and all funds from the Luncheon will be donated to PAMM’s education program as a memorial gift in his name. Landon benefitted a long list of South Florida’s nonprofit organizations, including schools, universities, and arts groups.
The PAMM Corporate Luncheon raises funds for the museum’s education programs. PAMM is the largest provider of art education outside of Miami-Dade County Schools, reaching nearly 87,000 children since opening in December 2013. Corporate support has made many of these free programs possible, which include: free family activities every second Saturday; Brick x Brick, a program for at-risk teens which takes place at community centers in underserved areas throughout Miami-Dade, and focuses on architecture, design and community planning; PAMM in the Neighborhood, a summer camp program for underserved youth; and more.
The Eighth Annual PAMM Corporate Luncheon co-chairs are Jorge M. Pérez and Aaron Podhurst. Luncheon host committee: Marivel Andreu, Gonzalo A. Acevedo, Andres Asion, Fernando Crespo, Alex Espenkotter, Pedro A. Fernandez, Greg Ferrero, John Fumagalli, Laura Kaplan, Deborah Koch, Luke Palacio, Richard Steiner, Carolyn Travis and Gloria Zaldivar.
For the fifth consecutive year, presenting sponsor of the PAMM Corporate Luncheon is South Motors Automotive Group, and is joined this year by Stephen Starr Events Miami.
