HELEN MCCRORY RETURNS to the venerable National Theatre of London for the title role of "Medea," playing on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, October 3 to 5 at 1:00 pm each day at the Gables Cinema. Directed by Carrie Cracknell from a new version by Ben Power, this modern-dress production follows Medea, a barbarian woman who left her home and bore two sons for her husband, Greek hero Jason. When Jason abandons her for another woman, Medea is driven to the edge of despair and plots revenge so appalling it shocked even Ancient Greek audiences.
