Time Out says

City Theatre and Island City Stage are proud to present the return of Shorts Gone Wild 3, South Florida’s hottest short play festival that celebrates the LGBT and Progressive communities, from August 6 – September 6 at Empire Stage in Ft. Lauderdale and from September 10 – 13 at the Fillmore in Miami Beach.

Conceived and created by Island City Stage Artistic Director Andy Rogow and City Theatre Producing Artistic Director John Manzelli, Shorts Gone Wild 3 takes six actors, eight playwrights, four directors and a design team, and whips them up until they peak into eight short, provocative, funny and thoroughly entertaining plays that are relevant to the LGBT and Progressive communities. Winner of the 2014 Silver Palm Award for Best LGBT Theatre show, Shorts Gone Wild is the newest collaboration under City Theatre’s SUMMER SHORTS FESTIVAL umbrella that features brand new, never performed plays written by local South Florida playwrights, alongside pieces from nationally recognized playwrights selected through the City Theatre National Award for Short Playwriting competition.

The Shorts Gone Wild 3 play line-up includes:

The One by Sheri Wilner, Hands by Becca Schlossberg, The Anthropology Section by Patricia Cotter, I'm Going First by Michael Leeds, Oldest Living Chorus Boy Tells All or The Last of Billy Button by Tony Finstrom, Quiche or Quinoa by Stuart Meltzer, The Agenda by Michael McKeever... and a surprise comedic hit from City Theatre's past!
