Being a lady is tough, and it’s also expensive: women pay an average of $1,351 more on personal care products than men. This Saturday, European Wax Center and 1-800-Lucky’s Taiyaki join forces to bring awareness to this so-called Pink Tax, and there’s free ice cream involved. Head down to the Wynwood food hall and snap a picture of the freshly painted mural by Miami artist Claudia La Bianca and share it on social media using the hashtag #AxElPinkTax. The first 100 people to share a photo of La Bianca’s street art—which depicts the price disparity men and women pay with blue and pink wings—receive a free cone from Taiyaki. Sticking it to the man is much more satisfying with free ice cream in hand.
