Shana Falana is an experimental dream-pop band emerging from New York’s vast drone/psych scene. Combining live looping of reverb-drenched vocals and guitar with tribal drums and stunning visual projections, Shana’s live experience has often been described as transcendental. "Contrary to the light-infused title, Lightning Fire is a record of psychedelic dream pop dashed on the rocks of goth defiance" says Stereogum, her 2nd LP “Here Comes The Wave” is out 10.21 on Team Love Records.

"Chatham Rise hypnotically undulates, mesmerizing in a hazy fashion of lo-fi psychedelia that’s expansive and dense, yet never rises above the trance-like state of chemical intoxication, gently morphing as the Blue Sandoz winds down, as the walls barely move, and you’re finally able to close your eyes and drift as one with the music"... "conjuring images of blue velvet nights, and foaming summer waves lapping like the curtain lace of your open windows." - It's Psychedelic Baby Mag

On his first full-length, Unblinking Sun, he filters krautrock, drone, and psychedelic improvisation through the vernacular of the American fingerpicked folk tradition.

A student of Takoma guitar legend Peter Lang, Palmer has opened throughout the Twin Cities for acts such as Chris Forsyth and the Solar Motel Band, Daniel Bachman, Mind Over Mirrors, and Paul Metzger.

Prior releases include Garfield Avenue Sessions, a compilation of home recordings issued on on the small tape label Ambivalent Soap.

Just emerged from first tour with collaborator Matt Beachey, sharing bills with acts like Health and Beauty and Ty Segall in support of new "Slow Clarity" cassette on Cabin Floor Esoterica.
