U.S. Meddling Escalates: Venezuela - A new crisis?

On March 9, President Obama issued an executive order declaring that Venezuela is “an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security” and ordered sanctions on seven Venezuelan state officials. The U.S. has maintained a hostile stance to Venezuela and it’s government, including CIA and other meddling and support for coup attempts.

Come to public forum to discuss:

• Why is the U.S. hostile to Venezuela?

• What is the role of the Venezuelan government?

• What is behind the new sanctions?

• Why have people and governments in Latin America come to the defense of Venezuela?

The weekend of April 18/19 will see solidarity events around the world to speak out against new U.S. threats against Venezuela.
