1: Tuition-free public college

2. Cancellation of all student debt

3. A $15 minimum wage for all campus workers

PLEASE: feel free to invite your Facebook friends to this!

Join us in sharing a message to invest in the future generations of our country! Stand in support of those who struggle to make ends meet in the interest of bettering both their personal future and our future as a nation. The message is clear, end predatory student loans, and provide a secure and sustainable education system for both ours and future generations.

We will be meeting a the state capitol, from noon until dark, signs, megaphones, banners, and stern opposition are encouraged, but remember, if we are to be taken seriously we must be respectful and appropriate. So please consider carefully, any slogans for rhetoric that you choose to put on a sign. We must be constructive and poignant. This event will be going most of the day and you are encouraged to come and stay as long as you can, we aim to populate the capitol lawn for as much time as possible in order to get our message across, so come prepared and bring a friend or two!

“We need to build a mass movement against the system of corporate higher education to demand tuition-free public college, a cancellation of all student debt, and a $15/hr. minimum wage for campus workers everywhere,” Organizer Keely Mullen told US Uncut.

#MillionStudentMarch was introduced only one month ago, and there are already 36 declared actions in 33 cities. A list of local actions is available on the main #MSM website, and if you don’t see one at your college or city, organize one! Organizers stress that you don’t need to be a student to participate in the Million Student March, you only need to support the demands. Anyone can sign up to create a march on StudentMarch.org and RSVP to the national Facebook event page.
