Details: TIM CHEESEBROW CD RELEASE with No Grass Limit and Adam Levy at Cedar Cultural Center

Crooked Lines, Tim’s third full length album set to release March 24th 2016, is a collection of 12 songs that detail the love, loss, uncertainty, vices, and victories that often define the strange and winding road between where we were and where we’ll be. Recorded at Essential Sessions Studios and featuring some of the area’s most accomplished and respected musicians, Crooked Lines is an album you’ll want to keep in your playlist. Seasoned songwriting blended with tasteful production create a sound that is familiar enough to enjoy, unique enough to explore.

Tim’s backing band, the Nomads, includes Mike Arturi (percussionist with The Lovin’ Spoonful/founder of Universal Music Center), Steve Sullivan (guitarist), Ryan Hays (upright bassist), “Lightning”Joe Peterson (piano/organ with the New Primatives and Love Nocturnal), and Phil Nusbaum (banjo player and host of “Saturday Morning Bluegrass“ on Jazz88.5 ).

Special guests include John Schjolberg (pedal steel with Dan Israel), Pete McCauley (mandolin with Hounds of Finn), Sarah Morris (singer/songwriter), and Katia Cardenas (vocalist), and Dan Newton (accordionist with Cafe Accordion Orchestra). Each one of them is an accomplished professional in their own right, but together they make a kind of magic onstage that brings the music to life.

Tim Cheesebrow has dedicated his life to making music. Described by Northfield News as “a critically acclaimed Minnesota favorite,” Tim’s brand of rootsy Americana has a distinctly midwestern flavor with singable, folky melodies, interesting guitar work, and down-to-earth lyrics that tell a story.

He is also the executive director of Discover Music, a non-profit teaching songwriting classes to middle and high school students in MN public schools. Students learn to write their own songs and then record them in a studio, backed by live professional studio musicians. He helps students discover a life long love of music making.
