Following only two weeks after Olive et Gourmando opened its doors for takeout, Dyan Solomon and Eric Girard's second restaurant Foxy is opening tomorrow and is currently taking orders. The restaurant has been long cleebrated for its relatively unique wood-fired oven, and now its menu has been adapted to the current circumstances until restaurants in Montreal can open on June 22.

The menu consists of dishes which are for two people at a time, bringing together a few of the restaurant's classics in addition to some seasonal creations: Warm lobster salad, grilled asparagus, and a Nordic shrimp salad join several house classics such as the ricotta gnocchi, in addition to a strawberry frozen yogurt for dessert. Marinated meats are also up for grabs as well as part of a grocer setup the restaurant has in-house. Wine lists have been made available as well and include bubbles, rosé, macerated wines, reds and whites, as well as beers and ciders (full list below).

The reopening for takeou at Foxy is a first step towards the restaurant's gradual reopening of its dining room, but Dyan Solomon is reportedly not going to reopen the restaurant completely in the first week following June 22.

Until the dining room does open, takeout is available if orders are placed at least 24 hours in advance by email at info@foxyrestaurant.com and going in person to pick up purchases directly at the restaurant from Thursday to Saturday, 4pm to 7pm.

As for when Un Po Di Piu may follow the footsteps of Foxy and Olive et Gourmando, anecdotal reports it could be only a matter of days until their reopening is announced for takeout, likely to occur on Instagram.
