Lovely Singh (Salman Khan) is a ‘hot and hard’ bodyguard who can make his opponents ‘pee in their pants’. After successfully, single-handedly smashing a Thai human trafficking ring, Lovely is assigned to protect rich college-going Divvya (Kareena Kapoor). Will he be able to save his ‘madam’ from a killer-toy helicopter? Forget the plot, this is a shameless showcase for its ageing, A-list lead. Khan rises to the occasion, injecting some charm in the ‘Matrix’-style fight sequences. The first hour is tedious and unfunny: expect the customary fat/gay/midget/fart ‘jokes'. A tonal shift in the last half-hour from comic-action to soppy melodrama is manipulative, cheesy and unoriginal. Gym-bunny Khan’s shirt automatically rips-off ‘Hulk’-style, yet again. Bliss for faithful fans of utter bolly-poppycock.
