Little to do with life north of the border, since this parody of Lives of a Bengal Lancer sees the darling duo travelling from America to Scotland to collect an inheritance, and thereafter enlisting (accidentally, natch) with the army to serve in India. Not one of the pair's funniest features - which are almost all inferior to the shorts, anyway - but there are a few memorable moments, not least when they improvise one of their little dances while supposedly cleaning up the parade-ground.
