Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars

This documentary on the organic movement doesn’t spend much time on niceties. The subtitle—The French Organic Food Revolution—screams manifesto, and the footage of UNESCO symposia and school cafeterias serving organic food suggests a call to arms. Frightening statistics punctuate the film like death knells (in Europe, 40 percent of cancer cases are linked to food), and a compelling argument is made—pesticides hurt the farmer, the environment and the consumer. And the alternative, as demonstrated by children harvesting edible schoolyards, can be delicious.—Gabriella Gershenson
