Time Out says
Set in sunny Burbank, this disastrous modern Western veers between camp pastiche and po-faced machismo as two tough but tenderhearted tearaways accidentally steal some drugs. Pursued by mobsters who want their merchandise back, Harley (Rourke) and Marly (Johnson) bike, smoke, flex biceps, jump off tall buildings, and indulge in various limp male-bonding rituals. They make a ludicrously vain double act, Johnson modelling sporty stetson and kinky boots, Rourke opting for a black-and-red leather jump-suit with his name emblazoned on the back. The baddies, meanwhile, are dressed to kill in fetching ankle-to-neck, wet-look overcoats. Utter rubbish, and badly dressed at that.
