Desperate to break out of jail fast because he's just heard that his girlfriend is about to marry a cop, the over-excitable Yu (Sol) cons his way into the escape tunnel that loner Choi (Cha) has been digging for the last six years. No sooner have they got away than they discover they're both pardoned for their crimes in an Independence Day amnesty. To receive their pardons, though, they need to be back in jail - and their efforts to get there are hampered by Yu's insistence on kidnapping his girlfriend, which means that her intending groom and the rest of the police force are in hot pursuit. This likeable farce doesn't have the anarchic kick of the same team's Attack the Gas Station! or the moral complications of their Kick the Moon, but the dovetailed plotting and frenetic complications keep interest high and laughs coming.
