King of Kung Fu
Time Out says
This is a straight-up Chinese actioner with no trimmings, a few decidedly graceful moments (an acrobatic group performing in slow motion), and a virtue that several of the independent productions seem to share, that of incorporating a genuine street feeling, however fleetingly, into the proceedings. Out of the same stable as Headcrusher, the film is marred by the usual rambly story-line, some sentimentality, and exec producer Jimmy L Pascual's continuing love affair with the police (the 'man with no name' turns out to be an investigating officer). The fights are spirited.
