Although a straight-to-video special in Britain, this quirky farce has its moments and the often underrated Dreyfuss makes the most of them. The plot is ripped off from an old Bilko episode: a compulsive gambler has the luckiest day of his life at the track - suddenly he can't lose - but he's soon to find that hitting the jackpot doesn't necessarily make him any happier. One to ponder when you shell out your weekly lottery stake. Adapted by Nancy Dowd, under the name Ernest Morton, from the novel Good Vibes by Jay Cronley.
