Mad Cowgirl

Time Out says

If you value coherence and good taste, look elsewhere. But if you’re up for a horror flick replete with incest, sacrilege, martial arts, serial killing, a kick-ass leading lady and more red meat than you’ll find at Peter Luger, Gregory Hatanaka’s sensory assault is for you. Meat inspector Therese (Lassez) has problems, including a sleazy televangelist lover (Koenig), a too-close brother (Duval) and a brain tumor that may have been caused by mad cow disease. Underneath all the fucking, confessing, gorging and slaying may be a point about Western society’s excesses. But who cares when there’s kung fu? (Now playing; Two Boots Pioneer.) — Raven Snook
