Time Out says

Bennett Davlin’s debut feature is what used to be called a B movie: modest budget, modest ambitions and extravagant story line. Billy Zane stars as Dr. Taylor Briggs, an Alzheimer’s researcher exposed to a mystery powder that enables him to experience the memories of his ancestors. These flashbacks lead Briggs to believe his absentee father was responsible for a series of creepy child kidnappings; Dennis Hopper and Ann-Margret are old family friends who may know more than they’re saying. Like the Bs of yore, Memory is passably entertaining—and totally forgettable. (Opens Fri; Landmark Sunshine.) — Tom Beer
