Mister Skeeter

Jamie and Lisa, on the run from a children's home, meet eccentric vaudevillian Mr Skeeter (Bayliss) in a seaside shelter; they exchange confidences, watch the sun rise, and share stolen food. As the police close in on the runaways, the film focuses on the brief encounter of this oddly innocent yet worldly-wise trio, and is closely observed, funny, and excellently photographed, with memorable performances and dialogue.
