Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars
Mysterious without being effusive, this latest work from Thai director Ratanaruang (best known on these shores for his 2001 film ‘Monrak Transistor’) allows its sinister atmosphere to do the talking for two misfit souls who, on a camping trip, experience a strange jolt to their relationship when one of them is possessed by the spirit of an old tree. From its stunning opening tracking shot of two men chasing a woman through a woodland glade only to be found dead a few minutes later, this languid investigation into the marital complications of a high-rolling media couple is not afraid to look to the paranormal for answers.
