A documentary account, surprisingly non-depressing, of veteran director Perry's own reaction to being diagnosed as having prostate cancer and, perhaps, other related, possibly terminal symptoms. We see him trying various treatments (both conventional and alternative), arguing with his doctor, visiting counsellors and faith-healers, and generally coping with an admirable blend of courage, wit and determination. Still fighting the disease with an unexpected degree of success, he has made a film which, besides being fascinating in its own right, may well give heart to other sufferers and their loved ones.
