Satan's Skin

Not nearly so atmospheric as Michael Reeves' The Witchfinder General, but for the first hour Piers Haggard keeps his theme and the blood flowing nicely. It begins in style, with a farmer in 17th century England digging up a skull with one eye still working, and then there is a disembodied furry arm and claw on the rampage. The only thing the cast of Olde Worlde actors can think of is human sacrifice, and there are a lot of nubile actresses to choose from. Sadly, Haggard lets things slip, and the make-up man takes over.
