Teenage Hooker Became Killing Machine in Daehakroh

Salacious, sarcastic and totally swinging, this gleefully depraved acid exploitation musical makes whoopee with a bunch of revenge thriller clichés and a risible attitude to human life. The plot's all there in the title - just 60 minutes long, it's streamlined and single-minded - but that doesn't convey the leering line-up of febrile degenerates who populate its urban pigsty world: the rampant high-school whore ('Honey? Or Dad?'), her club-fisted pick-ups, the ghoulish lipsticked teacher whose grandmother's peace she disturbs, the trio of giggling saw murderers he duly sets on her. Shot through neon flared, fish eye lenses and set to a preposterous medley of rock, opera, trip-hop and Spanish guitar, it's deliriously rabid ham. You can but snigger.
