The Berlin File
Time Out says
‘The Berlin File’ combines some superbly choreographed fight scenes with a smart investigation into the lives of those who live undercover. Following a botched arms deal, North Korean spy Pyo Jong-seong (Ha Jung-woo) finds himself faced with the possibility that his wife, a translator in North Korea’s German embassy, could be a double agent. At the same time a South Korean intelligence operative looks into the sale of arms. While a primer in Korean peninsula politics might help to make the film a little less confusing, the action scenes and emotional core keep ‘The Berlin File’ gripping.
