The Keeper
Time Out says
Esposito's a warder at a detention centre. A liberal studying law, he treats the prisoners with respect; his colleagues regard them as scum. When he helps bail out a Haitian baker (de Bankolé) accused of rape, whom he believes innocent, he forgets that the man will have difficulties finding a job or somewhere to live. When the man turns up on his doorstep, the warder persuades his wife (Taylor) to let him stay in their house, with alarming consequences. Fine cast, authentic early scenes, but melodrama eventually swamps the proceedings.
