Energetic horror movie, with minimal sfx and a thrash metal soundtrack, with Barker and Cameron the two old mates who drive off from Auckland to the West Coast for a surfing trip and find themselves taking – BIG MISTAKE! – a rural detour as darkness falls. In tandem with a pair of would-be female party ravers, the nightmare slowly unfolds as they find themselves threatened by shot-gun wielding shadowy shapes from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre colour-in book, having been separated first of all from their car and then their mobile phone.
