In 2007, a suitcase containing thousands of negatives shot by legendary war photographer Robert Capa during his Spanish sojourn surfaced in Mexico City. This documentary interviews those working to restore the pictures, and travels back to Spain to revisit some of those who knew Capa, and others who are still working to exorcise the ghosts of the country's troubled past. A rather dry and scholarly film, 'The Mexican Suitcase' will prove most interesting to photography nuts and war historians, but there are some interesting nuggets for the layman, too.
