The Secret Policeman's Ball
Time Out says
Second of the ragbag stage revues in which satirists and musicians did their thing on behalf of Amnesty International (the first was Pleasure at Her Majesty's). With Cleese and Cook sticking to their party pieces, much of the material seemed pretty déjà vu even at the time. But there were highlights like Rowan Atkinson's malevolent rollcall of a class of imaginary pupils, and Billy Connolly's ruminations on the mysteries of life ('How come, every time you're sick, there's always diced carrots in it?') in a disquisition on drunken Scotsmen.
