Tying the Knot
Time Out says
Opponents of gay marriage will undoubtedly dismiss this low-budget documentary
as nothing more than homosexual propaganda, and, frankly, they'll be completely
accurate. The earnest piece of agitprop waves its rainbow flag as it takes a
scattershot look at recent court battles, how gay people suffer when their
relationships aren't legally recognized, and how progressive Holland and Canada
are compared with America when it comes to allowing two men or two women to
exchange wedding vows. While the film provides some rah-rah inspiration for
queer activists, it's not particularly enlightening, with most of its material
extensively covered by the media already.
