Two builders become involved in the dark dealings of the local mafias in this farcical, over-ambitious black comedy. Some very funny, well-written scenes smack of the quick-witted Turkish comedies of the ’70s. Strong criticism of modern Turkey's increasingly self-righteous society also make for good satire. However, it's a shame that so much is wasted on repetitive, slow-paced scenes with the builders killing time. The unsettled tone also makes it difficult for the plot to develop one way or another, eventually becoming so compromised things come to a sudden, unsatisfying end.
