Time Out says

This documentary—the final installment of director John Bush’s “Yatra Trilogy,” covering spirituality in Tibet—is sincere and soporific. Although the ornate temples, religious artifacts and mountainous landscapes are exquisite, the narration comes off like Buddhism for Dummies.
While it’s terrible that the Dalai Lama lives in exile and his compatriots are oppressed by their Chinese occupiers, Vajra Sky Over Tibet is the kind of history-heavy fare that airs on the Discovery Channel. You’re better off donating to a Tibet-oriented charity than paying to see this film in the theater.—Raven Snook
