Time Out says

When his New York medical practice is busted for insurance fraud, surly doc Charlie Keegan (Capelli) is assigned to a six-month stint at Shady Pines, an upstate nursing facility run by a slogan-spouting ex--used-car salesman. A heavy dose of syrup is served as Charlie begins to question his scruples while at the home, which is populated by a host of charming eccentrics and a night nurse (Chriqui) who could’ve stumbled out of a Maxim spread. As predictable as an episode of Matlock, Charlie’s transformation loses its appeal long before the end credits roll. (Opens Fri; Village East.) — Erin Clements
