Way Out West

Arguably the most assured of Stan and Ollie's features, with the sparkling duo sent to Brushwood Gulch to deliver the deed for a gold mine to the daughter (Lawrence) of a deceased prospector. Looking for a quick buck, saloon-keeper Finlayson directs them to his own brassy girlfriend (Lynn). Some classic moments, such as the pair's soft-shoe shuffle outside the saloon, and their vocal duet at the bar on 'The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia', as well as a razor-sharp satire of B Western conventions.
