Time Out says

This documentary encapsulates everything that gives feminism a bad name, from whining about patriarchal society to celebrating the goddess within. It follows the lives of seven artists who are also mothers—cue shots of them in the kitchen, juggling the phone while feeding the kids. Husbands are either absent or being told where to find the meat loaf; you can’t shake the feeling
that footage of helpful spouses landed on the cutting-room floor. Pamela Tanner Boll’s thesis—it’s hard to be both mother and artist—neglects to mention that it’s tricky for anyone to make a living as an artist. Feminist experts weigh in, but the patriarchs aren’t even given enough rope to hang themselves.
