The Bombay Jazz Club is back, dedicating an evening to the simple pleasure of listening to music in the monsoon at the Baroke – A Listening Bar. Artists D. In collaboration with DAG, the Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum invites you to step into the exhibition showcasing a rare collection of photographs of iconic palaces, forts, temples, and numerous ancient Indian monuments – including some rare pictures of Mumbai – captured during the 19th and 20th centuries of colonial India. Through this exhibition, you can explore how these photographers documented India’s architectural marvel using glass plates and bulky cameras, and how this skill became a powerful tool for documentation and preservation.
