PERFORMERS Nashville Symphony Giancarlo Guerrero, conductor Jonathan Biss, piano Jun Iwasaki, violin PROGRAM John Williams - Three Pieces from Schindlers List Schumann - Piano Concerto Jonathan Leshnoff - Symphony No. 4 Heichalot Nashville Symphony Commission | World Premiere | Live Recording Barber - Adagio for Strings This concert is presented in conjunction with Violins of Hope - a collaboration of the Nashville Symphony, Nashville Jewish Federation, Nashville Ballet, Nashville Public Library, Vanderbilt University and additional partners to be announced. The Violins of Hope are instruments played by Jews during the Holocaust and recently restored by Israeli luthier Amnon Weinstein. The violins will be on view at the Main Library, and our orchestra members will perform on them at this concert. This will be a very moving and powerful concert. Concertmaster Jun Iwasaki will solo on John Williams beautiful score from the movie Schindlers List
