After the Nashville Scene called Literary Death Match "a dazzling, vital presentation of contemporary work that was as engaging as the best concerts, plays and stand-up comedy sets I've ever seen, all rolled into one" how could we stay away? We're teaming once again with the Southern Festival of Books for a night to remember at the War Memorial Auditorium for a night of lit, comedy, wit and wonder. Be there!

What is Literary Death Match? Four writers read their own work for seven minutes or less, and are then judged by three all-star judges. Two finalists are chosen to compete in the Literary Death Match finale, a vaguely-literary game to decide the ultimate winner.
