We’re kicking-off our 2017 peak growing season with Mayor Megan Barry at the 3rd Annual Strawberry Jubilee on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year's event will feature a Kids' Strawberry Eating Contest, a free Strawberry Tasting Table, Strawberry Cake Contest, "Chopped" winner Chef Brian Riggenbacjh giving a demo in the Edible Kitchen, live music, food trucks, local farmers, and lots of fun for the entire family. See the schedule below!

10 a.m. – Kids’ Strawberry Eating Contest, ages 7 and under (center white tent)

10 a.m. (until supplies last) - Strawberry Tasting Table by the Junior League of Nashville’s Kids in the Kitchen program (center white tent)

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Picker’s Vodka Bloody Mary Bar (also serving Tennessee wine, local beer, and Strawberry Vodka Lemonade)

11 a.m.- nMayor Megan Barry rings the opening bell and welcomes visitors to kick-off of the Nashville Farmers’ Market 2017 Peak Season!

11:30 a.m. – “Chopped” winner Chef Brian Riggenbach, and executive chef and partner of Maneet Chauhan’s The Mockingbird Nashville gives chef demo in the Edible Kitchen (back of Farm Shed 1)

12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Live music: Western Swing with Nashville legend Buddy Spicher

12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Strawberry Cake Contest entries accepted in center white tent

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Strawberry Smoothie Samples in Farm Shed 1 by the Junior League of Nashville’s Kids in the Kitchen program.

1:30 p.m. – Strawberry Cake Contest winners announced and prizes distributed
