Boxing Day means very different things to different people. For some, it’s a day of rest after the chaos of Christmas. For others, it’s time to head back into town and make the most of the famous Boxing Day sales.
But let’s be honest; no matter how much you love a bargain, most of us are all shopped-out by the time December 26 rolls around. That’s why travel deals are so great. Instead of fighting through crowds for clothes of the latest bit of tech, all you need to do is grab your laptop this Friday and order yourself a holiday instead.
To help you out, we’ve put together all the best travel deals to take advantage of this Boxing Day. Here’s to more travel in 2026!
Are there Boxing Day flight sales this year?
There are several great Boxing Day flight sales this year, although the best deals seem to be for package holidays. This is a great time to sort your family/lads/girls summer holiday before prices spike and you end up having to pay double what you would’ve liked to for a worse hotel room.
How long do Boxing Day sales last?
Boxing Day sales don’t end when the clock strikes midnight. They generally extend throughout the ‘Twixmas’ period (aka December 26-31), and in the world of travel, you’ll find excellent deals to be had well into January.
The best Boxing Day deals in travel
Airlines
British Airways
BA always hosts a big Boxing Day sale, and this year is no different. From December 26 until January 27, the airline is offering money off flights and package holidays, with city breaks starting from just £150 (or €170) per person.
Some highlights include a week in Corfu for £350 (€400) per person, three nights in New York at £1060 (€1210) for two, and a week in Barbados for only £769 (€880) each. That includes flights, accommodation, and baggage. Pretty good, eh?
