Right now, yoga retreats and trips to tropical islands are pretty much off the cards for most of us. As are Bintang beers on the beach or our suitcases seeing any action for the foreseeable. But it’s not all doom and gloom, because you can stream some dreamy vibes straight from Bali right into your living room at the moment.

Yoga Barn, one of the island’s famous yoga retreats, is live streaming yoga classes from their studio in the bustling town of Ubud, while the place is closed and unable to run their usual classes.

Take a class at Yoga Barn usually and you wander through greenery, in the shade beneath palm trees, on your way to your open-sided studio, before a class set to the soundtrack of jungle noise. It might not be quite as atmospheric, but the classes on Facebook and Instagram Live, which range from flows for anxiety to sleep-inducing yoga nidra, are bound to bring a little Indonesian sunshine into your lockdown.

If you want to make it a little more authentic, just dig out those baggy gap year trousers and find some jungle sounds on Spotify.
