You – yes, you – could have Eric Cantona mastermind your next holiday. That’s right, the dude known for drop-kicking a fan (and, of course, being a total football legend) has now launched his own travel brand. It’s called Looking FC, and it offers so-called ‘pilgrimages’ to football clubs around the world.

Would you want Eric Cantona to curate your next beach getaway? Your next adventure holiday? Honestly, probably not. But would you want him to be at the helm of a football-themed getaway? Absolutely. It’s difficult to think of a better person to guide you through a hol filled with stadium tours, club histories and tactical briefings than the undisputed French footy icon.

Besides, Cantona’s Looking FC sounds as incredibly passionate as you’d expect from the big man. The reasoning behind the company is that Cantona wants fans to reconnect with the passion and history of some of the world’s most famous clubs.

‘Our idea was to create the most passionate football trips on earth, with charisma and soul,’ says Cantona. ‘These trips are for those who still believe in passion and want to go deeper into their love of football.’

The trips last for three days (and four nights), and include destinations like Manchester, Liverpool, Buenos Aires, Milan and Madrid. The itineraries include tickets to a match, plus extra experiences like ‘chant workshops’, walking tours and tactics briefings. And those aren’t just any old match tickets – the trips are timed to include thrilling fixtures like Liverpool v Manchester United at Anfield, Real Madrid v FC Barcelona’s El Clásico at Madrid’s Bernabeu, and a PSG v Marseille Le Classique at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

While each trip is masterminded by Cantona, it’s unclear whether the guy will actually be there himself. We’re guessing probbaly not – he’ll more likely be busy shooting the next (controversial) Kronenbourg advert, or something like that.

Looking FC is a partnership with travel start-up Dharma, and prices start from €1,490 (£1,242) per person. Find out more on the Looking FC website.
