Instead of giving us what we really want – another season of Bojack Horseman – Netflix is launching a new pop-up restaurant. Opening its doors in LA on June 30, Netflix Bites (‘Netflix and Grill’ was right there!) will offer a range of tasty treats from some of its most popular food shows such as Is It Cake, Iron Chef, Nailed It! and Chef’s Table.
Meals will be prepped by the likes of Michelin-starred chef, Curtis Stone, Nadiya Hussain, Ming Tsai and Dominique Crenn, seven days a week from 5-10pm, with an additional brunch service on weekends.
Nice as all that sounds, the big announcement has left the internet feeling spicy. Following Netflix’s draconian clampdown on password sharing, folks have taken the opportunity to tuck into the streaming giant. And it makes for tasty reading.
‘Everyone pays separately I assume,’ one Twitter user quipped. Meanwhile, others are sharing GIFs featuring reactions from iconic TV characters in response to the news.
