After two years of on-off travel restrictions scuppering holiday after holiday, finally the end of the pandemic seems to be in sight. That means many of us are now planning splashiest summer getaways ever – and we’re looking to stay somewhere seriously impressive.

Happily, photo printing firm Infiki has just released a new study revealing the most picturesque hotels in the world. To do this, they created a list of the world’s most popular holiday destinations, then trawled through location hashtags on Instagram to find the most posted-about hotels.

So, where came top? That would be the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai, which has already been tagged 2.55 million times on Instagram so far this year. Next up is Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, which has racked up 1.88 million posts in 2022. In third place was Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, with 1.57 million tags. And you know what? The Gambling Capital of the World in fact had four entries in the top ten – impressive, impressive stuff.

Want to know where else is hot right now? Here is the top ten in full:

  1. Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE
  2. Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
  3. Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, USA
  4. MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA
