Skytrax’s World Airport Awards have named the squeaky-cleanest airports on the planet – do you agree?

The last thing you want after disembarking from a long flight is to finally reach a regular bathroom and it’s just a bit smelly.
Skytrax knows that, and that’s why the company’s annual World Airport Awards includes a category on which hubs are the cleanest, based on customer satisfaction. There are two rankings: one covering all airports globally, and another covering the airports that welcome 25 million passengers or fewer per year.
Topping the list for the cleanest major hub is Tokyo Haneda, which, unsurprisingly, also ranked well in the ‘best airports’ category, claiming third place. It also wiped the floor in the rankings last year.
Singapore Changi, which also ranked as the very best airport in the world, claimed second place, and Doha Hamad, which ranked as second best overall, claimed third place in this ranking – clearly cleanliness is a vital factor in airport greatness.
As for the smaller airports, Bahrain Airport claimed the top spot, followed by New Chitose in Japan and Centrair Nagoya, also in Japan, which round out the top three.
These are the world’s best airports overall, and these are the best ones for food.
Did you see that these are Europe’s most beautiful campsites, according to the Guardian?
