The city has been rocked by the act of violence committed at the Pulse nightclub this weekend, an act that has left at least 50 people dead and a nation in mourning. It's been described as an act of terror and of hate by President Obama, and the deadliest mass shooting in US history. There are no words for the grief we feel or for the depth of love we send to the victims and their families. At this stage there is no official vigil being held in the Orlando area; police have advised against any vigil as their investigation is ongoing. There will be  gatherings however at various churches and public spaces, as well as bars, and we advise people to look online and on Twitter and Facebook for gatherings should they want to attend. Whether we physically gather tonight, or not, we will be standing together. And with love.
