The Abbey says
The all-male string quartet Well Strung has been receiving rave reviews at Feinstein’s/54 Below and all over the world, from the House of Blues in New Orleans to the Leicester Square Theatre in London. A Well-Strung Christmas marks the debut of their brand new holiday show, devised by Well-Strung, Mark Cortale and director Richard Jay-Alexander.

The evening will include selections varying from some of the most beautiful and traditional melodies such as Silent Night, to irreverent “newly-observed” versions of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and the famous “Sleigh Ride,” to George Michael’s This Christmas and everything in between.

There will be opportunities for audience participation, and guests will walk away from the evening’s holiday celebration with some special moments to remember and keep close to their hearts.

About Well-Strung

Well-Strung, featuring Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cell0) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola), is a string quartet with a modern twist, playing universally recognized classical pieces while also singing pop music hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson and more for a wildly engaging and unique experience. Conceived by Mark Cortale and Christopher Marchant, the foursome has quickly gained international attention. They have performed at the NYC TrevorLIVE Gala and appeared on the Today Show and Watch What Happens Live. They have also performed with artists like Kristin Chenoweth, Deborah Voight, and Norm Lewis; most recently they were invited to perform alongside Neil Patrick Harris at his Provincetown concerts.
