Art in Odd Places 2016/PLAY Orlando, and the Downtown Arts District present the second annual public art and performance festival on November 11-13, 2016.
Local, national and international artists present projects that explore PLAY through disciplinary diversity including visual and installation, performance, time-based media, virtual and gaming work, onlineIRL hybrids, and others.
Projects include, but are not limited to ideas of acting, activities, celebration, charades, competition, creativity, dance,
drama, exercise, frivolousness, fun, game(s), imagination, instrumentation, leeway, leisure, maneuvers, music, participation, performance, portrayal, practice, randomness, rehearsal, silliness, spontaneity, sport, stage, and theater.
