Art in Odd Places Orlando says
Meet this year's co-curators of Art in Odd Places Orlando 2017/Noise, Julian Chambliss and Rachel Simmons, along with other team members at the artists interest meeting at Gallery at Avalon Island. Doors open at 5:30 and the meeting starts at 6 p.m.

Artists of all disiplines are invited to attend and to learn about this year's theme, location and other details. It's a time to share ideas, to create a vision of new ways to explore the realms of public spaces and to get feedback on questions you may have about this year's upcoming AiOP Orlando public art festival.

Materials will be available for your review.

Art in Odd Places Orlando 2017/NOISE invites proposals for its annual public art and performance festival, taking place from November 10-12, 2017, along Orange Avenue, from Wall Street to South Street. We welcome disciplinary diversity: visual/ installation, performance, time-based media, virtual/gaming work, online-IRL hybrids, and others. We encourage projects that explore this location’s history, and that actively engage the public realm. This year’s theme is NOISE.
