CALLING ALL BADASSES!!
This is an OPEN CALL for the Orlando Fringe Festival debut production of ANNE FRANKENSTEIN, a grindhouse/horror/comedy stage extravaganza from the twisted minds of Adam McCabe and Michael Knight!
//WHEN:
Friday, March 13th from 8:00-11pm
Sunday, March 15th from 7:00-10pm
//PLOT SYNOPSIS:
The infamous Anne Frank is miraculously brought back from the dead using modern science to kill off the remaining neo-Nazis in America. Along with a colorful cast of Hebrew heroes and psychotic antisemites, Anne Frank aims to be the most explosive and shocking show in Fringe history!
//WHAT TO PREPARE:
• Please prepare a one-minute comedic monologue, headshot, and acting resume.
• You may be asked to cold-read excerpts from the show following your monologue.
//CALLBACKS:
Friday, March 20th from 8:00-11pm
//ROLES AVAILABLE:
DR. SYLVIA STEFFEL (female, 30-50)- The doctor is a hard nosed worker, who is hiding a lot of inner pain and turmoil. Her focus and demeanor are a large front for the caring and concerned heart lying within her. Strong British accent.
ADAM SILVERBERG (male, mid-twenties)- A genius biologist. If only he would stop being a jackass long enough to really get any work done. He is all warm hearted though, not an unkind bone in his body. He’s a little early Transformer’s Shia Lebeouf, with a lot more mouth on him. Very "Marty McFly".
HEINRICH VON ARSCHLOCH (male, 30-50)- A heinous Christoph Waltz type with a bitter mean streak hidden behind a fluffy marshmallowy exterior. Strong German accent.
PAMELA VON ARSCHLOCH (female, mid-twenties)- Dry, absolutely no nonsense. She has seen some shit and does what she is told even though she thinks she can do better. She is pure sadism. Blood is best.
TRACK 1: LACKEY 1/NEO 2/JACKASS 3/RUNNER 1- A myriad of idiot characters.
TRACK 2: LACKEY 2/NEO 3/ JACKASS 1/CEO- A second myriad of idiot characters
TRACK 3: RUNNER 2/NEO 1/JACKASS 2/NEW LACKEY 2: Yet another myriad of idiot characters.
